Happy Monday!!! I had such a busy weekend but happy to report it was a productive weekend as well.

• Yesterday Mr. Aguila and I went to a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game and had a blast together. I grew up a Dodger fan, thanks to my granddaddy, who is a huge Dodger fan and so is the rest of my family. Here are a few pictures of us having fun.

• We were blessed with the tickets so we had no idea where we would be sitting at and I was hoping and praying we wouldn't be in the sun and praise God we weren't because it was a hot sunny day in Los Angeles. We had some really awesome seats. Of course had to have a Dodger Dog.
• I didn't take any selfies but for my LOTD, I wore a little of everything.
• FOTD-MAC Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15, Shade 5.0 and MAC Powder Blush (Frost) in Get-Away Bronze, part of summer colletion 
• EOTD- SHADOWS:My Beauty Addiction Shadow Poxy to start and then for color I used Champagne on the brow lid, Royal on the crease and outer corner plus MAC Pro Longwear eye shadow in Sweet Satisfaction on the rest focusing on inner corners.  
• EYELINER: Avon Glimmersticks Chromes in Flashy Steel, I made a thick line, then on the top right by the lash line, I used Avon Mega Impact Eyeliner in Extreme Cobalt plus on my water line.
• EYELASHES:  I started with the L'oreal voluminous False Fiber Lashes, Black and then I finish the tips up with AVON Super Extend Infinitize Mascara, Black.
• LOTD- MAC Coconutty.

• I have alot of MAC empties I need to return to MAC, do you take advantage of the BACK TO MAC program? Have you heard of it?
• It's a good thing i have Dodgers on my mind because this Saturday we are getting ready to celebrate my middle nephews 11th Birthday and the theme is Los Angeles Dodger baseball.
• I found a Blue Velvet Recipe and my cousin and I are going to try this for our Dodger Blue cupcakes.

Make Up, Ohhhh Make Up

Hello my lovely treasures, thank you for stopping by here today.

I have had so much on my mind lately, I haven't been able to sit and focus and put my thoughts down which is why I am just writing my blog for Makeup Monday tonight. I know, I know, I know. I am so sorry, I really am trying to get better at this blogging stuff.

So during my 4 day weekend I took a lot of pictures of just random make up items. Some I took of the different store displays and some are from my Avon order. So this may turn out to be a wordless Wednesday, Makeup Monday post.

New mascara, Mega Effects by Avon, that I am totally loving right now. I will be doing a review and giveaway post soon.

Ok so for the make up display spotting's, I had this weekend.

So this was the NYX display and I took a photo of the Eyeshadow base display, the price on these were $6.99. Which eyeshadow base or primer do you use?

As I had shared with you on Sunday, I cheated on AVON/MARK this weekend and I visited the MAC store and made a small purchase for a big price. I am not sure why I continue to do that but here is a picture of SOME of the eyeshadow displays.

I guess this Is why I go in there and I end up buying something!! Look at all these colors but seriously $20 before taxes and NO shipping just for ONE of these shadows??? I need to stay away from this evil store and stick to Avon.

And finally some Avon blush, my friend ordered Rose Lustre (pictured on top) and I ordered Molten Mocha (pictured on bottom left and right) and I also have the Cranberry shade, which I love and is really pigmented.





I also made an order for My Beauty Addiction eye shadow samples and eye shadow poxy.

And after all this Make up shopping, I confess (yes I realize it's not Friday and this is not a confession link up post) I have not warn make up all week.

 

A peek into the Avon goodies for my customers but like I said always feels like an Avon haul all for me.

And so there you go, a peek into Life as Mrs. Aguila's adventures in make up and yes I know it's not Monday but there is still time for Make Up Monday.



Confessing Time

Ok so it is that time again...

1. I seriously love 4 day weekends.
2. I love visiting my hairdresser and getting my hair done.
3. I just got my hair done and haven't taken a picture.
4. I love getting my Avon order and going through everything. Even if it is not mine, it still feels like an Avon haul all for me.
5. I want to get new Avon customers.
6. I cheated on Avon this weekend with MAC and My Beauty Addiction.
7. I love the MAC store.
8. I really shouldn't have spent over $40 on 2 MAC items.
9. I was pretty jealous when one of my customers ordered a blush, an eye shadow quad AND a lipstick from Avon and only spent $22.
10. I am thinking of returning the MAC items I bought.
11. I am an impulsive shopper.
12. I love to shop.
13. I am really looking forward to church service tomorrow.
14. I am so sleepy right now.
15. I usually type my blogs late at night.
16. I stay up late and I am so not a morning person.
    
17. I can not wait to see my brother tomorrow.
18. I was excited to get the KEEK app on my Windows 8 phone BUT I have yet to post a video.
19. I have recorded a couple Keek's but then delete them.
20. I love, love, love my new blog design and want you to check it out and let me know what you think.

Wonderful Wednesday....

Hello Lovely Treasures,

I hope and pray that you are doing well today and that you are ready to have a fun safe Independence Day celebration.  So Mr. Aguila and I decided to go to San Diego and catch some lunch in Little Italy and watch a firework show by the ocean with our lovely friends. I am super excited. This will be our first time spending the day over there for this celebration. I will share our experience and photos with you on Friday.

Turquoise Crazy

Hello Treasures,

It's a short work week. I have a four day weekend and I am so ready. I dont know what Mr. Aguila and I are doing yet but I dont want to waste this weekend being lazy, Thats a first!! LOL  Do share what everyone is up to this weekend so I can get ideas.

So anyway I am on a Turquoise craze since last week.

Maybe cuz i am working on my blog design and one of the colors is turquoise, guess what other color I am using??

So anyway today's post will be a little bit about everything. If you have read my previous posts, you will know that for whatever reason I get my make up inspiration from what i am wearing, but it is not so much about matching just the color inpiration.

I mentioned to you before that I won a giveaway from Maria-Isabel of Agape Love Designs for some My Beauty Addiction products and one of the items I chose was Turquoise Eyeshadow. I love it!

So here is the look.

For the eyeliner I used Avon glimmersticks liqui-glide eyeliner in Brown and as a highlighter I used Nudey Booty from My Beauty Addiction but you couldnt see it on my skin color so I will have to give that color away. I usually use the Shroom from Mac as my highlighter but its a nice neutral color just to nudey for my booty!
