Make up for your Monday

Blessings to you lovely ♥Treasures♥

I am going to get better at this blogging stuff. I PROMISE!

So I have shared some stuff on Mrs. Aguila's AVON/MARK shop Facebook Page. If you haven't "LIKED" my page, you should!

Have you heard? Mascara has been revolutionized, by Avon. ‪There is a new way of dressing up your eyelashes, ‎Mega Effects‬ Macara. Your lashes have never seen anything like this.

Available in Avon Campaign 17, which starts tomorrow July 31, 2013, on my website, Mrs. Aguila's AVON/MARK Shop.

This "brush" is no brush at all, it is more like a wand, it is so flexible and so easy to apply. You can read the instructions on how to use it right on the inside of the box.
Closer look at the brush.

SHARING THIS FROM THE AVON FACEBOOK PAGE.

Get Eyes That Mesmerize! Avon's Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen tells us how to create this look in a few easy steps:
1. Apply Mega Impact Eyeshadow wet or dry to control color intensity.
2. Add a bold eye liner like SuperShock to make your eyes pop!
3. Finish the look with ‪#‎MegaEffects‬ Mascara for volumized lashes.
Items from Avon and you can purchase from my website Mrs. Aguila's Shop

So let me know what you think.  Do you think you would like to try this latest makeup innovation?

My Desire is to Inspire...

LIFE AS MRS. AGUILA...

Psalm 47:7(AMP)
For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises in a skillful psalm and with understanding.

Psalm 68 (NIV)
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. A song.

1 May God arise, may his enemies be scattered;
may his foes flee before him.
2 May you blow them away like smoke—
as wax melts before the fire,
may the wicked perish before God.
3 But may the righteous be glad
and rejoice before God;
may they be happy and joyful.

4 Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds[b];
rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.
5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.
6 God sets the lonely in families,[c]
he leads out the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

My dad died when I was five years old. Believe it or not, I have vivid memories of my dad and I cherish those memories like you have no idea. My dad and i were so very close and the trauma of loosing him, created a fear in me, a fear of abandonment. This fear did not allow me to get close to people around me. For many years it was subconscious (mental activity not directly perceived by the consciousness, from which memories, feelings, or thoughts can influence behavior without realization of it).

God is so awesome though, he revealed this to me. He reveals to heal so as it comes up God helps me to overcome this fear and free me from it and in this class/group, Making Peace with my Past, I was able to get healing for another layer of this fear. Thank you Heavenly Father.

I do not have to live in fear of abandonment anymore because I have a promise from God in this scripture...
Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV)
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

God will help us through everything we face in life. Have a blessed weekend.

CHRISTmas in July

Hello Lovely ♥Treasures♥

So it seriously feels like Christmas in July to me, especially since it rained on us at my nephews party on Saturday. I am a Cali girl and while we do get June gloom, I don't ever remember a rain storm in July here. I am not complaining. I love rain and cold weather anytime especially in the summer.

A couple weeks ago I got an email from the lovely Ms. Trine Marie that I was the winner winner of her Summer Shoe giveaway! Sweet!!! There is something about winning that is just awesome even though the shoes aren't my size, I was still super excited to get the news. I know I am not the only one, am I?

Last night, I got home pretty late but I got home to packages. I was so excited! I love receiving packages in the mail. The shoes are so pretty, too bad they dont fit me.
She even addes some pretty nail polishes, hair ties (that I LOVE) and a nail filer !
On top of this lovely package, I received my starter kit from Beachbody for my new journey. I was really excited opening it up and checking out all the goodies. It felt like Christmas in July and then it hit me I am really nervous about this journey.  I am suppose to take before pictures, get all measurements done and shared with a group for accountability. I know its no different than blogging BUT STILL just feeling a little weird about the whole thing.

We officially begin on Saturday, July 29th but I will begin working out tonight AFTER I take photos and measurements. Have any of you done this Beachbody challenge? Drank Shakeology? Worked out to the Slim in 6 videos? If so, send me some tips and tricks please!
Well now it's your turn for a chance at CHRISTmas in July. I have a few giveaways that I am a part of this month and I want to be sure you have a chance to enter them.

Mrs. Aguila's Confessions

Hello to all you lovely Treasures,

I am not sure why but I love doing these "I Confess" posts.

So here goes my confessions.

I CONFESS...
  • I should be asleep already because it's almost 1am and I have church in the morning.
  • I been thinking about this post and thinking about this post for a couple hours but just couldn't get to typing it out.
  • When I got married, I gave Mr. Aguila two must haves for our apartment and that was an AC and washer/dryer hook ups.
  • I didn't get either one with out apartment but I loved the place so much that I compromised.
  • Almost five years later, Mr. Aguila got me a "portable AC" and I am not really sure why it's called portable because it is so heavy and it doesn't move around easily.
  • I have to do my laundry at the public laundry places and I hate it so much I only go once a month and if it were up to me I'd go twice a year (because I probably have enough clothes to last me for 6 months)
  • I DO have enough clothes to last me for AT LEAST 6 months
  • One day as I ranted to Mr. Aguila about not having anything to wear, he says he counted 69 blouses and that was only hanging up in the closet.
  • I have never counted them to verify the number and since then I have cleaned out the closet and given away many of the shirts that didn't fit me anymore.
  • I have gained so much weight in the past "almost" 5 years of being married and I'd say within the last year I have gained the most.
  • I am embarrassed to say how much I way BUT I am finally starting a weight loss challenge next Saturday and of course I will blog about it because that is what bloggers do.
  • My Team Beachbody coach is a Christian who offers support through the weight loss but more importantly offers to pray us through and I know that God and prayer, I can do this.
  • I am not excited at all about this whole eating healthy stuff but I am committed to loosing weight and so the journey begins. Will you follow me and encourage me and help keep me accountable?
Now it's your turn, write up some confessions and link up with Agape Love Designs and Let It Shine here I CONFESS

Saturday Inspiration

Hello my Lovely ♥Treasures♥

Today I am going to bring you some hope inspiration.

I read alot of inspiration this week and I would like to share it with you.

When you can live authentically, you will become a beacon of light and hope for others! Free to pursue God's perfect plan for your life!! By Paula White

This has got to be my life mission statement. The Life of Mrs. Aguila is to live authentically to be a beacon of light and hope for others and to be FREE to pursue God's perfect plan for my life. AMEN!!!

God's Word is always so encouraging to me. I mean anyway you are feeling or any situation you are facing you can find something to encourage you and fill you with ♥Faith♥ and ♥Hope♥  I love God's Word.

When we are feeling down and out, if we seek the Lord our heart will rejoice.  God's word tells us to guard our hearts. I like the way this version says it.
Proverbs 4:23 New Life Version (NLV) "Keep your heart pure for out of it are the important things of life."

I read this on my GIG's Facebook from Barry Cook
"God does not want to bring you out of your adversities all beaten up and bedraggled; no, you are not simply a survivor, you are “more than a conqueror” (Rom. 8: 37). He wants to bring you out PROMOTED and INCREASED, with ABUNDANCE. Beyond that, God wants to make the enemy pay for the wrongs done to you, His child. God wants to bring you out to a flourishing FINISH. If you’re in a tough situation today, you need to develop a RESTORATION MENTALITY. Mentally ENCOURAGE yourself that God IS going to turn your situation around. REMIND yourself that you don’t just defeat the enemy; you gather up all the spoils. Your attitude should be, Father, I thank You, for I know I’m going to come out stronger, healthier, and happier than I’ve ever been. In Christ, we are loved lavishly, covered, carried, cared for, healed, restored, revived and rewarded for our persevering faith!"
“I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him.” (ISAIAH 57: 18)
This reminds me of shifting our waiting perspective to The Waiting Treasure. Oh what treasures are inside thee Greatest Treasure of all. He holds the spoils from every battle and I don't know about you but I've been through many battles in my life. I have found the Treasure and I want all the spoils, how about you?

The Hope of the Faithful, and the Messiah’s Victory

A Michtam of David.

16 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
3 As for the saints who are on the earth,
“They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.”
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;
Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer,
Nor take up their names on my lips.
5 O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You maintain my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.
7 I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
8 I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will rest in hope.
10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
11 You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Amen and Happy Saturday

Hello My Lovely {Treasures},

A few things going on in Mrs. Aguila's life...

  • Yesterday Mr. Aguila and I went to a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game and had a blast together. I grew up a Dodger fan, thanks to my granddaddy, who is a huge Dodger fan and so is the rest of my family. Here are a few pictures of us having fun.

  • We were blessed with the tickets so we had no idea where we would be sitting at and I was hoping and praying we wouldn't be in the sun and praise God we weren't because it was a hot sunny day in Los Angeles. We had some really awesome seats. Of course had to have a Dodger Dog.
  • I didn't take any selfies but for my LOTD, I wore a little of everything.
    • FOTD-MAC Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15, Shade 5.0 and MAC Powder Blush (Frost) in Get-Away Bronze, part of summer colletion
    • EOTD- SHADOWS:My Beauty Addiction Shadow Poxy to start and then for color I used Champagne on the brow lid, Royal on the crease and outer corner plus MAC Pro Longwear eye shadow in Sweet Satisfaction on the rest focusing on inner corners.
      • EYELINER: Avon Glimmersticks Chromes in Flashy Steel, I made a thick line, then on the top right by the lash line, I used Avon Mega Impact Eyeliner in Extreme Cobalt plus on my water line.
      • EYELASHES:  I started with the L'oreal voluminous False Fiber Lashes, Black and then I finish the tips up with AVON Super Extend Infinitize Mascara, Black.
    • LOTD- MAC Coconutty.

  • I have alot of MAC empties I need to return to MAC, do you take advantage of the BACK TO MAC program? Have you heard of it?
  • It's a good thing i have Dodgers on my mind because this Saturday we are getting ready to celebrate my middle nephews 11th Birthday and the theme is Los Angeles Dodger baseball.
  • I found a Blue Velvet Recipe and my cousin and I are going to try this for our Dodger Blue cupcakes.
Well as you can tell Life as Mrs. Aguila is pretty busy these days.  I hope you have a wonderful rest of your Monday and be sure to check out more Make up, Beauty and Mani stuff over at Agape Love Designs
