Oh Work Out Wednesday
Hi Treasures,
I am getting ready to get my work out on. I am still on the Slim in 6 workout video. I have to admit I don't do it every single day.
For example, yesterday I woke up, picked up my nephew at 7:15am to drop him off at school, came home made some breakfast. After making breakfast need to get ready for work.
I work a full time job as a Consumer Relations Supervisor, which calls for a very interesting day sometimes. After a full day of work, I head straight to the laundry. Oh my goodness, I really loathe doing laundry. I have to go to a public laundry facility because where we live doesn't have laundry hook ups. I don't go every week or anything but still whenever I do go I am always there for about 2 1/2 hours. That is 2 1/2 hours of being on my feet: loading the washers, adding bleach, adding fabric softener, then loading them into the dryers PLUS folding.
I am tired just writing about it so anyway, yesterday I got home from the laundry so tired that I just knocked out and didn't get to work out.
Today I am determined to work out. I did pretty good today as far as eating.
Breakfast: I had my Shakeology drink (meal replacement)
Snack: Boiled Egg
Lunch: Wendy's berry salad with chicken.
Snack: Half of a baked potato
Dinner: Tuna Salad (picture and video below)

I had my veggies all cut up nicely and looking pretty for a picture and did a Keek Video (Do you use Keek? If so follow me, MrsAguila09) so I got side tracked and mixed all the veggies in the bowl and didn't take my picture but I am sharing the Keek.
For the Tuna salad I got the idea from my Coach. She is so lovely. She actually used tomato and broccoli but I am not a big fan of tomato and I bought the broccoli but didn't add it.
The ingredients I used:
Celery, Carrots, Green Onion, Red Sweet Pepper, Serrano Chili Pepper, Cilantro, 2 boiled eggs (ALL CHOPPED) PLUS canned corn, no salt added and Chunk White Albacore Tuna in water.
IMPORTANT: Tuna salad no mayonnaise. This works great for me because I don't like mayo.
So here is a video I did of the preparation for my yummy tuna salad.

Last
Hey Treasures, hope you are enjoying your weekend.
I am working on a blog post for an event me and my family attended last weekend and its taking me some time to get some research and put it together so I decided to check in with Lisa Jo Baker for Five Minute Friday and see what the prompt was this week and take a 5 minute break and just write.
Prompt is LAST
GO!
At first thought when I read LAST I thought to write about how sometimes I feel like I am last however that quickly changed, thank you God for your reminders.
I know of a love that will LAST. I can now love others with that same Love that will LAST.
1 John 4:19 NIV, "We love because He first loved us"
What truth is this small but powerful scripture. A LASTing truth.
Since I know a love that will never leave me, never forsake me, never abandon me, never hurt me and nothing can separate me from this love (see Romans 8 scripture below); Because of the promises that I am convinced of and that I hold on to, I know that I am loved by the Creator of heaven and earth, my Heavenly Father and therefore, I can now accept love and more importantly give love. I can embrace the amazing love from my husband and love him in return and I can love my family with an unconditional non-fickle love because of the love of God that I have. This kind of love will LAST.
Romans 8:37-39 "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Jeremiah 31:3 "Long ago the LORD said to Israel: "I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself."
I have experienced God's Love that will LAST into eternity and have been transformed. Yes I am still a work in progress and yes my love can be fickle but I have hope in God's love. I don't want to love others with my love or my way but with the love of God that has been poured into me.
Romans 5:5 NASB "and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
God's love will LAST through my ups and downs, through my failures and my victories, through my good and my bad, through my doubts and faith, through my fears and my victories and it'll reflect in my love that will last for my husband, my momma, my brother, my nephews, my family, my friends and all those I encounter on this journey of God's LASTing love.

Cooking with Mrs. Aguila
Hello Lovely Treasures,
I am doing a recipe post! Say what?? Mrs. Aguila blogging about a recipe AND cooking? Oh me, Oh my!!
Well let's do this! I actually got this recipe from my friend on Facebook, Tracey Scott. She shared a photo and it looked so delicious that I asked her for the recipe and she was sweet enough to comment with the recipe right away.
So here it is. Tracey is calling this dish, The Ultimate Veggie Stir Fry and best of all she mentioned it was "lite and fit". Winning with this recipe.
Recipe: ingredients.
2 zucchini, 1 bunch of asparagus, 1/2 green pepper, 3 small sweet red/yellow peppers, 1/2 jalapeƱo with seeds, 1/4 onion, 2 cloves of garlic. Salt your shrimp slightly
1. Slice all veggies and put in hot pan with 2 Tbsps. olive oil.
2. Garlic first then peppers and onions. Let cook down 2 min.
3. Add zucchini and asparagus.
4. Add salt and garlic pepper and cover 4 min.
5. Add shrimp (if electric stove turn off heat).
6. Add a 1/4 cup of water cover until shrimp turns pink.
So I didn't have any of the veggies on hand so I had to go to the market and buy all the ingredients.
The photos depict each step as I went along so you could get a visual to help you along.
My tips:
*Make sure to slightly salt the shrimp (My dish came out a bit on the bland side) I did add some seasoning to it but I think it needed a little more.
*Make sure not to leave out the jalapeno (Especially if you are like me and like spicy food) For whatever reason, I totally forgot to slice up my jalapeno which would've given this that nice kick.
*Make sure to only put 1/4 cup water. (I assumed it was to little bit and added a little more) It had a lot of liquid and that could be, partly why the flavor was bland.
Overall, I really liked this recipe and so did Mr. Aguila and best of all it is lite and fit which is what I am looking for right now. Besides a lot of slicing veggies, this recipe is pretty simple. I have a lot of the veggies left over so I am going to attempt to make this one more time and make sure to follow my tips or stick to the recipe step by step.
I numbered the steps for you for an easier follow so leave me a comment and let me know if you have tried, will try, would like to try this recipe?

Small Confessions
Hello Treasures....
So Today it is time for some fun. I am going to do Five Minute Friday, Small is the word and combine it with Agape Love Designs, I Confess. These are both linky parties so join in on the fun.
Of course I am late to the parties but here are some small confessions...
I go to sleep late and realize it is a bad idea in the morning.
I work better under pressure.
I sell AVON/MARK and really want to build up my online business.
I said I was going to get better at wearing make up everyday but still haven't.
I just had my hair done red ombre and I can't stop saying, "RED HAIR, DONT CARE."
I love red hair but I don't like the maintenance that comes with it.
I should be working out right now but I wasted all my time on Facebook and Candy Crush.
I will not go to sleep without working out tonight.
I have a weight goal I want to meet but not even sure how long it's going to take me to get there.
I really dislike working out and changing my eating habits.
I am trying to embrace my journey and focus on how awesome it is to fit back into my clothes.
I can sometimes feel really small in the Kingdom of God, yet I know God has called me to do BIG things.
I have an amazing husband.
God has blessed me more than I can ever deserve.
So those are my small confessions for today.
There is no kind gesture that is too small, there is no positive change that is too small. There is no idea that is too small. There is no person that is too small. There is no dream that is too small. You are not small.
You were made for great things. Dream Big!! Go Big!!
Peace and Blessings to you God's lovely Treasures.

Work Out Wednesday....
Hello God's Lovely Treasures,
I mentioned on here a few times about this fitness journey I begin. I came across a Christian Coach on Facebook, Brittney Garcia Duron and I say she is God sent. Here is a little information on her from her page.
Star Diamond Fitness Coach. Embracing a healthier lifestyle and teaching you how to do the same. Mother of a 10 year old, wife of an amazing man who loves me like no other. Jesus is my king and that is not negotiable. ♥
And I just love her Mission Statement:
So she does these small challenge groups for accountability and encouragement and challenge us and this particular one was Becoming a Better Wife Spiritually and Physically Challenge. I had been fiddling around with the idea for so long. Asking God to seriously help me to get it together in my eating habits and my weight gain. I just could not commit to this area nor did I want to but my weight gain was really getting to me. My clothes were getting tighter and tighter and I just didn't feel comfortable anymore so after reading about Brittney's latest challenge and talking with my husband about it and how much it cost (which he was ALL for) I decided to go ahead and join, which includes ordering Shakeology (a meal replacement) and pair it with a workout video. I chose Slim in 6.
Then comes the fun stuff, meal planning, cooking, working out, discipline, dedication, deciding, committing, succeeding, (This is the plan). Oh yes and the biggest thing, NO SODA, MORE WATER. (Say what!!!) I think just about each day I have thought about quitting. This is where Coach Brittney comes in, and accountability and encouragement from the group and best of all prayer. I am so blessed to be a part of this group. They are such an encouragement and we pray for each other, which is the best part. Apart from Him, I can do nothing. WE can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens us. I appreciate the sisters in Christ that God has joined me with on this journey.
The one thing that I have actually done each day is make my Shakeology for breakfast. Shakeology even took a road trip with me to Vegas. I bought this single serve blender which was perfect.
We will have good days and we will have bad days but no matter what we must keep it moving. Each day I have to choose to "Decide, Commit, Succeed" and this is with anything in life and as my Coach reminded me, it stands true for our walk with God. Each and every day we have choices. What will you Decide, Commit and Succeed to do? Let me know so I can keep you in prayer.
Ok and here is my before picture, I took this in Vegas while on vacation. Not really sure why I am sharing it here, maybe because this is the real Life of Mrs. Aguila. So far I have lost only 4 pounds but I have lost inches for sure because my clothes are feeling a lot better, YAYYYY God! I know I can eat much cleaner but I am still adjusting ,eating a lot better than before but I really need to work on meal planning and eating clean.
And since it's Workout Wednesday, Almost Thursday, probably Thursday by the time you read this, Here is tonight's sweaty raw picture of Mrs. Aguila. I have to share this with my group for accountability. EWWWWW but here it is.

On the days that you slip I will bring you back to why you began this and be real with you ♥

Today was a super busy day at work and had to take my car to the dealer to get serviced and ended up there, in the morning before work, for lunch and then after work. It was just a crazy day and let's just say there was no clean eating going on. I wanted to come home and just be lazy but I didn't! I pushed play on my video and begin to "Get To It". Love, Love, Love
Hello lovely Treasures, hope you had a great week!!
My GIG Rachel bought me this book a couple of weeks ago. It's a thin 40 day devotional but so powerful! This Day 17 really ministered to me! I could really feel God speaking to me as I read this.
The part that really hit home for me was this, "For years you swam around in a sea of meaninglessness, searching for Love, hoping for hope." Oh this couldn't be more true. I was searching for love in all the wrong places. That saying really is truth especially for me. I was chasing a false love when all along God says He was pursuing me! What a beautiful picture.
I love Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP)
From the book, 40 Days with Jesus, Celebrating His Presence by Sarah Young

I was searching for love in all the wrong places. That saying really is truth especially for me. I was chasing a false love when all along God says He was pursuing me! What a beautiful picture.
I love Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP)
3 The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.
God's love is everlasting. He is faithful and He draws us to Himself. I am ever so grateful for the timing that God had to reveal Himself to me. I had just started dating Mr. Aguila when I felt the tug on my heart to go to church.
Me and Mr. Aguila in October 2005 celebrating my birthday for the first time together!

So this month it's been 8 amazing years since Mr. Aguila and I started dating. We have known each other for about 10 years. We were really good friends before we started dating. Oh have I mentioned that we work together? Yes we work together and have lunch together most days and yes we love it.
In April 2006, I felt a strong desire to attend church. I say it was because of mother in laws prayers. When I first met her she said and I remember her words so clearly. She said I am glad that you know God. I always prayed for God fearing women for my sons. I don't know if you are the one he will marry but my prayer is they will marry God fearing women. I told Mr. Aguila, no wonder I had this urge to go to church, it was your mom's prayers. I am blessed to have a praying mother in law.
When Mr. Aguila and I started dating, neither of us were serving God. He grew up in the church but wasn't walking with God. I actually started going to church before him BUT God was also in pursuit of Mr. Aguila.
I am so thankful that God revealed Himself to me at the time that He did and lavished me with love and healed my heart and made me whole because it has helped build up my relationship with Mr. Aguila. God is our foundation and it is that way because God pursued us and revealed Himself to us. We made things right with God before we got married and have been happily married for almost 5 years now.
God's plans are far better than ours. Have you stopped chasing love in the wrong places and allowed God's love to lavish you? My prayer is that all will come to knowledge of God's love.

EOTD for Vegas
Mr. Aguila and I took a road trip to Las Vegas. He is here on business and I am here on vacation.
I am not a summer kinda girl and Vegas gets really hot around this time of the year so I like to stay indoors where the AC is on high but I am breaking out of my shell this time and blogging poolside in Vegas. It is a fair 100 degrees right now, eeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk. The ice in my shake and my ice cold water bottle have no chance.
Yesterday I went out shopping away but before I went out since I am on vacation and not rushed or pressed for time. I was able to get dolled up, after all its Vegas baby.
I took some selfies, I think I have mentioned before that I do not like taking selfies, makes me feel weird and uncomfortable and I take about 100 and share 3.
EYE BASE: I started with the eye shadow poxy primer). I used MAC Pro Longwear eye shadow in Sweet Satisfaction as a base.
EYELID COLOR: I used My Beauty Addiction Champagne on the brow lid and Royal on the crease and Milk Chocolate (which I love) on the outer corner, blended it all in and I used Avon Midnight Blue eye liner on lash line and water line and I used my favorite mascara's
EYELASHES: I started with the L'oreal voluminous False Fiber Lashes, Black and then I finish the tips up with AVON Super Extend Infinitize Mascara, Black.
And since it is Make Up Monday with Agape Love Designs I am going to tell you about this AMAZING Make up I started using!!! Move over MAC, MARK has arrived on Mrs. Aguila's face! Yes I sell AVON/MARK and of course I want you to buy it HOWEVER this post is not motivated by that. As you can tell, I use all different make up. I love to buy make up and so far I have not been able to get away from MAC foundation for years like MANY years, 10 plus years. I have tried different ones and end up back at MAC counter. So my MAC foundation costs me $35 a bottle and I really like the full coverage but I spotted this one, MARK Got the Goods, $18 and it had the same shape of bottle as MAC and same SPF, SPF 15 and the colors were by number like the MAC one and so I ordered to try it and let me just say one word AMAZING, seriously it is not cakey, it is so smooth and just makes my blemishes look flawless yet my face looks natural. If you are in the market for a new foundation I really recommend this and best of all, it has a money back guarantee.
And one last thing for make up Monday. Have you heard of The Cosmetics Company Store? As I spent my day shopping yesterday, I came across this store at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets and I had to go in and see what they had. They had a number of brands including MAC, score!!!! Ionly focused on the MAC and I love the summer collection colors from MAC so I spotted the MAC Surf, BABY and I got a lipgloss, Strange Potion and eyeshadow, Saffron. $22 bucks!! Happy wife, Happy life!!!!!
So there is my Make Up Monday. Share yours by linking up with Agape Love Designs

My Story through my Confessions
Hello My lovely Treasures,
Happy Happy Friday to you! It's evening time in California, where are you reading from? I'd love to hear.
So today is a unique post. The prompt for Five Minute Friday by Lisa Joe Baker is STORY and it's I Confess Friday with Agape Love Designs and Let It Shine. Since I love both of these link ups, I decided to write my Story through my Confessions.
I tried to write this blog earlier but for some reason, I couldn't get to my blog page so now I am home should be packing for my road trip with Mr. Aguila but decided I needed to put my story together and confess some things I have going on.
I started a fitness program 10 days ago. This is one tough journey but I am blessed to have a coach who is a Christian and who prays for us. Our challenge group is "Becoming a better wife spiritually and physically". I prayed and prayed about loosing weight and just for God's help to make changes as far as eating and giving up soda. I have been delivered of soda and I am so happy about that. There was a time I didn't think I could not drink soda. The eating healthy and meal planning and cooking is still in the works but I am not giving up. I am drinking my Shakeology everyday and working out to the SLIM IN 6 workout videos. God has connected me to some amazing ladies to do this journey with. I will be blogging on this more in detail soon.
We are taking a road trip to Las Vegas. Mr. Aguila is going for work and I am going for some much needed R&R. This trip is going to be different, I am taking my Shakeology, my blender and my workout videos. Say What???? Yes I have Decided, I am Committed and I will succeed. So far I have lost 3lbs and I know I have lost inches but not sure how many. I was pretty bummed with the number. I was looking to lose at least 7 lbs. in 10 days but a loss is still good right? I confess I have wanted to give up each day but learning to stop professing that and instead declare that I am an overcomer and that I will succeed with God's help. Do you have any fitness tips, healthy recipes, advice for me. Leave me a comment.
This is my STORY. Do you have a STORY to CONFESS? Go ahead take 5 minutes and join these awesome Friday Linky Parties.
Have a great weekend and I will be blogging from Vegas!!
