Coming Out Of The Cave

Good day to you Treasures,

Praying that everyone is doing well today and if not then I pray that this post will encourage you, inspire you and refresh you.

Have you ever felt like you just wanted to run and hide in a cave?  I am a city girl, Los Angeles to be exact and I don't know of any caves near me or I would have probably ran into it a long time ago.  Life happens and sometimes when it does, I just want to run and hide in a cave and although I have never physically been in a cave, emotionally and even spiritually, I have ran off into the cave like the Prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 19. I imagine Elijah just felt so much pressure, stress, worry and even fear so he just took off into a cave.

When I think of a cave, I think of isolated, dark, kinda creepy, lonely, hidden. What do you think of when you hear, CAVE?

The cave can represent so many different things (here are just a few examples):
  • It can represent doubt and unbelief. Maybe you have run to this cave because you doubt that things can turn around because everything is just not going right, you doubt that good can come out of such a bad situation, there is unbelief that God is with you, unbelief that you are loved by God.
  • It can represent unworthiness.  Maybe you you have run to this cave because you feel unworthy. You feel unworthy of God's love or anyone's love, you feel unworthy of a good positive life.
  • It can represent fear. Maybe you have run to this cave because you struggle with some kind of fear.
  • It can represent depression. Maybe you have run to this cave because you feel depressed over a failed marriage, the lost of a loved one, you lost your job, you feel hopeless.
  • It can represent anxiety.  Maybe you have run to this cave because you have anxiety over bills that need to get paid, or a child who is on the wrong path, or even pressure from your job or school.
  • It can represent worry.  Maybe you have run to this cave because you are worried about your bills, or your marriage, or your children.
Again the cave can represent a variety of things or emotions that we go through when trials happen in our life. Have you been there? I know I have but God is so faithful. I struggled through many things in my life and I still face some hard trials and God always encourages me with His Word.
My scripture of the week is in Romans 12:12
"Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer."

Just as God send angels to help Elijah along the way and he found him in that cave and asked him what h was doing there, God can and will do the same for me and you.
1 KINGS 19:9 "There he came to a cave and lodged in it; and behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and He said to him, What are you doing here, Elijah?"

He will redirect us and call us out of the cave(the darkness) into His marvelous Light. 1 Peter 2:9 AMP

In the cave, we can't shine His light, we can't fulfill our destiny, we can't utilize the gifts He has given us for Kingdom Purpose so He has to call us out and redirect us to the path He has set out for us.

We will face many trials in this life James 1:2-4 but those very trials will help build up our perserverance and if we put on the full armor of God and work on producing the fruit of the Spirit, we will no longer run to the caves because our focus won't be on doubt and unbelief but on FAITH, it won't be on unworthiness but on being valuable, it wont be on fear but on assurance, it won't be on depression but on rejoicing, it wont be on anxiety but peace, it wont be on worrying but on trusting.

We do not have to stay in the cave. Let's come out of our caves and shine bright as ever.

I want to share this video with you, Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave. I pray it ministers to you.

No More Fear

Good day beautiful Treasures,

I have to admit that I am weak and I dont do well under pressure. This week has not been easy for me or my family. I felt as if in an instant my amazing life was about to fall apart. I cried myself to sleep on several nights. My fears were taking over so rapidly, that I didnt even realize it. I was in a state of despair. How can I fix this, how can I fix this, how can i fix this? Is a question that raced through my untamed mind. So many memories awakened in me, so many fears came rushing at me.

Fear literally paralyzes you.
The definition of paralyze is to bring to a condition of helpless stoppage, inactivity, or inability to act.
That is exactly how I felt.  I was overcome with fear and stopped right in my tracks of everyday life. I went home and just laid in bed and did not want to do anything but cry and cry and cry some more. Have you ever been paralyzed with fear?

Oh how I thank God for an amazing life partner. Mr. Aguila is such a blessing to me. He encourages me and loves me through it all.

God as also blessed me with some amazing GIG's (GirlfriendS in God).  They also encourage me and lift me up when I want to stay down.  Thanks Rachel and Darlene! I love you both oodles and oodles!

But most of all what a blessing it is to have a relationship with the Almighty Father through Jesus Christ and to have His Living Word that speaks into your spirit and says "Arise and fight for nothing is impossible for Me." I was so encouraged by 2 Samuel Chapter 22 and 23.  You can read it by clicking on the link.

Today, I wanted to be open and transparent and reach out and encourage you and inspire you. Maybe some of you are paralyzed with fear right now. Maybe you are facing a tough situation in your life, God wants you to also know that Nothing is impossible for Him. He already knows what we have need of even before we ask.  His perfect love, casts out all fear. We have to make a choice to choose FAITH and not Fear, in case you missed that post, read it HERE.

I have noticed that when you are going through a tough time but you take the focus off of yourself and you reach out and inspire others, God shows up and shows off. He shows up and He showers you with renewed strength, He gives you a deeper level of FAITH, He empowers you with HOPE.

We do not have to stay paralyzed in fear. In fact, I am refusing to and I am encouraging you to allow God's love to cast out all of your fear as well. Put your full trust in the One who is able to help us.

Check out this awesome community, I love linking up with on Thursdays. (It's still Thursday right?)
