Work It Wednesday

Hey Lovely Treasures,

Today I just want to share a little about my fitness journey.  Most of my life I have been a skinny girl.  I have been through many stages of my life.  Weight was just not something I struggled with and then suddenly (not because of my age or anything) my weight just kept increasing and increasing. Although I wasn't comfortable with the weight gain, I just didn't care enough to do anything about it. Over the past 4 1/2 years of being happily married, I gained about 27 pounds. YIKES!!!!!!

I finally decided that it was time to do something about it. My clothes just didn't fit me anymore and I was just out of my element. I started, maybe the end of July beginning of August, to make changes in my eating habits and I started to work out and joined a group for encouragement and coaching along the way PLUS prayer. I drink Shakeology and work out to the Slim in 6 videos.

I have to confess I could be doing much better and eating a lot cleaner and probably even working out more BUT I have come along way and I have now lost 7 pounds and I am so motivated to keep going on this journey.  My goal for September is to drop another 10 pounds and then in October drop another 10 pounds. 

I am trying to pick up on the cooking my own meals and planning my meals but I am not there yet to be honest. I do cook a little more than before but again I could be doing more.

Confessions of Mrs Aguila

Hey Treasures, it's time again to get some confessions off my chest. I love doing this and then linking up with Agape Love Designs and Let It Shine.  Try it, you will like it.
I CONFESS...
 
  1. I am late to the party as USUAL. This linky party goes live every other Friday.
  2. I love to write these confession posts but I also like to read others confessions (Go ahead write up a post and link up). Let me know you linked up so I can take a read.
  3. I lost 4 more pounds and I am over the top excited.
  4. I have 20 more pounds to go so my goal is to lose 10 in September and 10 in October.
  5. I am so happy it is September and summer is ending.
  6. Even though Summer is ending or over, this weekend was super hot in California.
  7. I love the Fall and Winter Seasons.
  8. I love September because that is Mr. Aguila's birth month.
  9. I love October because I am an October baby.
  10. I am excited to be getting a new tablet this week and I am hoping that it'll help me get better at blogging.
  11. I finally got an Instagram account, follow me MrsAguila09
  12. I am on just about every social media and I love it!

  14. I was a little bummed out when my blog Facebook Page, Life as Mrs. Aguila went down in likes instead of up. I had 199 and then 198 and now 195. 
  15. I am sort of a new blogger and people say numbers don't count but I confess, to me they do, even on the scale.
  16. I am pretty excited that I have 870 Followers on Twitter.
  17. It would be nice if those followers followed me on my other social media sites.
  18. I have spent a lot of money sponsoring on other pages and I am not sure that it benefits me but I love hanging out on the side bars of some awesome blogs.
  19. I won another giveaway and it included a lot of ad space, thank you Jo, My Gosh and sponsors.
  20. I  will be introducing you to the blogs I am hanging out at this month.
  21. I have met some wonderful ladies on this blogging journey and for that I am thankful.
  22. Even though I am late to the linky party, I am actually scheduling this blog and my goal is to blog each day this week.
  23. I am excited for a four day work week.
  24. I am itching to shop for some make up from everywhere and anywhere but I know I shouldn't because I already have so much make up and I don't even wear make up every day.
  25. I am going to pray, read my bible and call it a night (scheduled post hehehe), GOOD NIGHT or GOOD MORNING depending on when you read this.

Oh Work Out Wednesday

Hi Treasures,

I am getting ready to get my work out on. I am still on the Slim in 6 workout video. I have to admit I don't do it every single day.
For example, yesterday I woke up, picked up my nephew at 7:15am to drop him off at school, came home made some breakfast. After making breakfast need to get ready for work.
I work a full time job as a Consumer Relations Supervisor, which calls for a very interesting day sometimes.  After a full day of work, I head straight to the laundry.  Oh my goodness, I really loathe doing laundry. I have to go to a public laundry facility because where we live doesn't have laundry hook ups. I don't go every week or anything but still whenever I do go I am always there for about 2 1/2 hours.  That is 2 1/2 hours of being on my feet: loading the washers, adding bleach, adding fabric softener, then loading them into the dryers PLUS folding.
I am tired just writing about it so anyway, yesterday I got home from the laundry so tired that I just knocked out and didn't get to work out.

Today I am determined to work out. I did pretty good today as far as eating.
Breakfast: I had my Shakeology drink (meal replacement)
Snack:  Boiled Egg
Lunch:  Wendy's berry salad with chicken.
Snack: Half of a baked potato
Dinner:  Tuna Salad (picture and video below)
I had my veggies all cut up nicely and looking pretty for a picture and did a Keek Video (Do you use Keek? If so follow me, MrsAguila09) so I got side tracked and mixed all the veggies in the bowl and didn't take my picture but I am sharing the Keek.
For the Tuna salad I got the idea from my Coach. She is so lovely.  She actually used tomato and broccoli but I am not a big fan of tomato and I bought the broccoli but didn't add it.
The ingredients I used:
Celery, Carrots, Green Onion, Red Sweet Pepper, Serrano Chili Pepper, Cilantro, 2 boiled eggs (ALL CHOPPED) PLUS canned corn, no salt added and Chunk White Albacore Tuna in water.
IMPORTANT: Tuna salad no mayonnaise. This works great for me because I don't like mayo.
