HELLO!!!! Thank you so much for reading my blog today. You are such a Treasure.
How was your day today?
As for Mrs. Aguila, I actually had a pretty chill day. I woke up early because this So Cal heat doesn't let me sleep in even on day that I can. BOOO.
So since I couldn't sleep, I got up like an anxious kid on Christmas morning excited to use her new toy. My hubby got me a new Microsoft Surface. LOVE IT!! He had already set it up for me so I was just messing around with it and getting acquainted with my new friend.
I decided I'd better get my work out in before heading out. I did a cardio work out that focused on abs, oh me, oh my!! After my work out, I made my Shakeology and started cleaning up before getting ready. Mr. Aguila had a day out at the beach with his nephews and I had to take my grand daddy to run some errands.
In between that, my mom and nephew came over because they had a blackout at their place.
Anyway, I got ready and went off to pick up my grand daddy and take him to cash his check and pick up some veggies and such from the market. (sidebar--grand daddy is 89 years old). I now have to help him with certain things and while reality makes me sad, what I mean by reality is that my grand daddy has lived close to 90 years and it is starting to show, I am so blessed to help out my grand daddy. He knows that he can ask me for anything and I will be there. So off we go and honestly, my grand daddy is still very independent but I find myself being so protective of him. I just love my grand daddy and I know he loves me. Our relationship is very special and with Grand Parents Day this weekend, here is my shout out to my Grand daddy and my mom who is a grandma and Happy Grand Parents Day to you or your grandparents or your children's grandparents.
I love that you are happy to help your grandfather!! That is exactly how I was with my grandmother. She's always had a most special place in my heart and life. I loved your post!
